Mehmet S. Ugur was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated from Istanbul University
School of Law in 2017 with honor. During his time in law school, he was involved in the construction business and served as project coordinator for a year, another year as a commercial manager and dealt with urban transformation projects in Istanbul. Also, he has worked as an intern in prestigious firms in Turkey and focused on corporate matters and investments.
After his graduation, he received a scholarship from University of Miami, and currently a
J.D./LL.M. student at White & Case International Arbitration LL.M. program. On January 2018, he was admitted to J.D./LL.M. joint degree program of University of Miami School of Law. Mehmet is fluent in English, Turkish, Uzbek and Azerbaijani.
