Ryan is a South Florida native with a passion for business and law. He graduated from Cypress Bay High School, where he participated in mock trial and debate. He continued his education at the University of Florida, earning his Bachelors and Masters in Accounting as a student in the 3/2 Program. At UF, he was a member of the Honors Program and Alpha Epsilon Pi. He was a Chairman of the Student Conduct Committee, a Business Law Teaching Assistant, and a Research Assistant to Professor Robert Emerson. While finishing his Masters, he worked at a non-profit civil and family law firm, Three Rivers Legal Services.
Ryan is a rising second-year student at the University of Miami School of Law, pursuing a joint J.D./L.L.M. in Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law. In addition to being a part of the EASL Honors Program, he is a member of the Business Law Review, Business Law Society, and the Entertainment & Sports Law Society. He serves as President of the UM Student Chapter of the Miami Dade Bar and as a Research Assistant to Professor Kathleen Claussen in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Ryan believes that the practice of law provides a unique opportunity for “ordinary citizens” to make profound changes on a societal, organizational, and individual level. His personal motto is “Learn to be thankful for what you already have, while you pursue all that you want.” He enjoys playing and watching sports, biking, traveling, listening to music, and cooking.
