Abhishek Ramaswami (“Ab”) is originally from New York, but now calls sunny Miami, Florida home.
After graduating from Emory University School of Law, Ab practiced as an attorney in New York and Miami, focusing on healthcare law, complex business litigation, employment law, and commercial transactions. Coming from a family of physicians, Ab developed an acute interest in the business of healthcare and has experience representing individual physicians, healthcare groups, and hospital systems in litigation, transactional, and regulatory compliance matters.
Prior to graduating law school, Ab’s experience included field research in Cuba, India, Bangladesh, China, and Germany while in graduate school at New York University (NYU), and worked with the District Attorney’s Offices in New York and Atlanta, the United Nations Security Council, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Ab is licensed to practice law in Florida, New York, and New Jersey. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, staying active and the outdoors, traveling, and exploring all that South Florida has to offer.
