Dara Durdic

Dara is originally from Chicago, Illinois and resides in Miami, Florida.

She received her bachelor’s degree from UCLA in Spanish and International Studies, and worked in global campaigns and non-profit organizations throughout college. Before law school, she worked in Chicago as an advocate against domestic violence, and volunteered to help abuse survivors petition for emergency orders of protection.

Dara is currently in her second year at the University of Miami School of Law, and is the first in her family to attend law school. She is a staff editor on the University of Miami Law Review and a teaching assistant to first year law students. While she is interested in many practice areas, her primary focus is commercial litigation. She is looking forward to improving her legal writing and research skills at EPGD and learning from the staff at the firm.

Dara’s personal motto is “be kind.” In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, reading, and playing with her puppy, Peanut.
