I was born in New York City, home to the best pizza and bagels made with the best tap water. Sure enough, my mother was drinking tap water when she was pregnant with me, so that’s why I believe I was only destined to be the best. I was raised in Dallas, Texas and something great about that city is it really has a personality. You get to Texas and you know you have arrived. Yes, I am a Dallas Cowboys fan…don’t hold it against me.

Truthfully, I spent the better days of my life in my hometown and had several jobs. My first job was working as a soccer referee. I will never forget when I called off sides on an 11-year-old girl and her parents were throwing things at me because I invalidated her goal, go figure. I was a janitor for my friend’s parent’s computer company. I was a life guard, and the plus side of that job was always having a really good tan. I was a Starbucks barista. Don’t tell my girlfriend, but I can make a really good espresso. I was a telemarketer and I actually attribute most of my success as an adult to what I learned from that experience. I was a bartender and let me tell you, I can make a really good Old Fashion, 10/10. I was a special needs clinician, a tutor, a file clerk at a law firm, a caterer, a hotel marketing assistant, a law clerk, and finally where I am today, an attorney.

I LOVE MY JOB. I really do. I am lucky every morning that I get to wake up and go to work because I really have a passion for the people I work for. What’s really cool is that I have been a lawyer for 14 years and in every meeting I have, I learn something new. There’s so much ingenuity and creativity… it is impressive! I like to think I have emotional expertise. I am emotionally intelligent and I like talking to my clients, hearing them out, and making their problems my problems so that they can sleep better at night. I hope to retire one day and travel the world. I’ve always wanted to drive to Alaska, and that will be the first thing I do.
