Jose Rodriguez-Lage was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He was part of a dual-enrollment program during his high school years and therefore graduated with an Associate’s of Arts Degree alongside his high school diploma. From 2017 to 2019, Jose attended the University of Florida (UF) where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and minors in History and Geography. Following his graduation, he returned to Miami and is currently attending Florida International University (FIU) where he is working on his Master’s in International Relations, focusing on U.S. foreign policy and security studies. He is also studying for the LSAT and plans to commence law school in late-2021.
On a personal note: Jose is passionate about the airline industry and plans to write his Master’s Thesis on the role that government subsidies play in Middle-Eastern aviation and how they impact the relationship between the United States and Gulf nations.
