Kathrine Karimi Headshot

Kathrine Karimi is an attorney at EPGD Business Law in both the Corporate and Trusts & Estates departments.

Kathrine has been with the firm since 2019 where she began her career working as a law clerk while attending law school at St. Thomas University School of Law here in Miami, Florida.

Kathrine has established a focus on assisting individuals with managing their personal and business assets and developing action plans for passing down their leadership roles.

Her practice includes guiding start-ups and small to medium size companies through each phase of a growing business. From putting a suitable corporate structure in place, negotiating favorable terms for transactional matters and legal disputes, to preparing agreements that provide protection amongst business partners and third parties, she strives to ensure her clients are safeguarded from potential liability and legal consequences.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Kathrine moved to Miami at the age of nine. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, she watched first-hand the effort and initiative it takes to not only establish a successful business but to overcome the constant hurdles and challenges that a business owner must face on a regular basis.

Understanding the importance of planning and the advantage of effective strategies, Kathrine learned early on that businesses, as well as individuals, need proper arrangements in place to ensure longevity and a smooth transition to future successions.  Kathrine also takes a holistic approach to estate planning for individuals and families to protect assets for future generations. She assists her clients with designating how and when assets will be distributed to beneficiaries as well as helping them identify who will make important decisions on their behalf in the event they are no longer able.

Taking pride in building long lasting professional relationships, Kathrine loves engaging with new individuals on a daily basis.

In her free time, you can catch Kathrine out on the water with her family and friends, island hopping in the Caribbean, or listening to true crime podcasts.
