Born and raised in Broward County, Max received his Juris Doctorate from the Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, New York. He was one of only two students in his graduating class to earn a Certification in Sports and Entertainment Law. He has experience working on labor, employment, and business law trial attorney in both state and federal court.
Max has amassed extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of wage and unpaid hour violations, misclassifications and exemptions, workplace discrimination and harassment, unlawful retaliation, breach of contract, non-compete agreements, restrictive covenants, workers’ compensation, OSHA violations, business torts, business disputes, and civil theft.
His knowledge awareness of the unique environment and culture surrounding the Florida business market, makes him a zealously advocate for clients and defend businesses so that they can focus on growth instead of being handcuffed by legal proceedings. Max stands out amongst his peers due to his experience as both a defense attorney and a plaintiff attorney at different stages of his career, which has allowed him to reasonably counsel clients so that they can make the most informed decision possible.
Due to this diverse background, Max has successfully won jury verdicts, and has resolved hundreds of cases through settlement negotiations, mediations, conciliation conferences, motion practice, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. In his spare time, Max enjoys playing ice hockey and is a life-long supporter of the Florida Panthers. He also enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
