Carla is an attorney at EPGD Business law specializing in appeals and business litigation.

Carla, a Miami native, completed her undergraduate studies at American University in Washington, D.C., graduating in 2016. She then pursued her legal education at St. Thomas University – College of Law, graduating cum laude in May 2021. During her time in law school, Carla distinguished herself as Vice President of the St. Thomas Moot Court Board and served as a Staff Editor on the St. Thomas Law Review.

In 2020, her work, “An Analysis on Biometric Privacy Data Regulation: A Pivot Towards Legislation Which Supports the Individual Consumer’s Privacy Rights in Spite of Corporate Protections” was selected to be published in Volume 32 of the St. Thomas Law Review Journal. In her last year of law school, she was a Certified Legal Intern for the Appellate Litigation Clinic. Upon graduating from law school and passing the bar, Carla worked as a Central Staff Attorney at the Third District Court of Appeal where she conducted jurisdictional review of cases, drafted legal memoranda, and assisted with the overall processing of appellate cases.

Carla volunteers for the Miami-Dade County Board of Zoning Appeals and is an active member of both the Cuban American Bar Association and the Miami-Dade Bar Association.
Carla enjoys tennis, live music, hot yoga, and traveling in her free time.
