MIAMI, FL (October 2026). EPGD Business Law, P.A. has named attorney Tiffany Arias Ramirez Chair of its Trusts & Estates Department. In her new role, Arias Ramirez will officially lead the firm’s estate planning, trust administration, probate, trust and probate litigation, and guardianship work across South Florida.

Arias Ramirez works with entrepreneurs, business owners, and blended families on plans built around asset protection and legacy preservation, from revocable living trusts for day-to-day asset management to irrevocable trusts for asset protection and wealth transfer. Her appointment reflects EPGD’s continued investment in the practice areas that sit alongside its core business law work, where a client’s company and a client’s estate are often the same conversation.

Tiffany has earned the trust of our clients one plan at a time. Many of the business owners we represent are also thinking about what happens to their company and their family next, and Tiffany is the attorney they want in that room. She’s the right person to lead the department,”

said Eric Gros-Dubois, Founding Partner of EPGD Business Law.

“Estate planning is personal. Every plan we build is about a family, a business, and the future someone wants to protect. I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead this team and to keep doing that work with the transparency and care our clients deserve,” said Tiffany Arias Ramirez.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who leads EPGD Business Law’s Trusts & Estates Department?

Tiffany Arias Ramirez is Chair of EPGD Business Law’s Trusts & Estates Department. She was named to the role in October 2026.

What does EPGD’s Trusts & Estates Department handle?

The department handles estate planning, revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, trust administration, probate, and guardianship, with a focus on asset protection and wealth transfer for individuals, families, and business owners.

Why should business owners have an estate plan?

For business owners, an estate plan does more than direct personal assets. It can determine who controls the company, how ownership transfers, and whether the business keeps operating through an incapacity or death. Coordinating estate planning with business succession planning helps avoid probate delays and disputes among heirs or co-owners.

What is the difference between a revocable and an irrevocable trust?

A revocable living trust can be changed during the grantor’s lifetime and is commonly used to manage assets and avoid probate. An irrevocable trust generally cannot be changed once created, and is often used for asset protection and transferring wealth more efficiently.

Does EPGD offer estate planning services in Spanish?

Yes. Tiffany Arias Ramirez is fluent in English and Spanish and works with clients in both languages.

Is EPGD accepting new trusts and estates clients?
