Miami Welcomed the World’s Legal Community LNA and Our Law Firm Made It Happen

Legal Netlink Alliance LNA meets EPGD Business Law

We were honored to host the Legal Netlink Alliance Americas Spring General Meeting in Miami, bringing together attorneys from across the Americas and Europe for three days of substantive programming, cross-border networking, and candid conversations about the future of legal practice.

We were proud to serve as the host firm for the Legal Netlink Alliance (LNA) Americas Spring General Meeting, held in Miami, Florida, from April 23 to 25, 2026. Over three days, member firms and legal professionals from across the Americas and Europe gathered for panels and networking designed to strengthen the professional relationships and practical knowledge that define the LNA network.

Our founder Eric Gros-Dubois opened the meeting alongside LNA US Board President Brendon Friesen, setting the tone for a program centered on collaboration, shared growth, and the realities of running a modern law firm.

EPGD Sessions

On April 24, we covered three sessions that most legal conferences tend to avoid: the messy, practical realities of running and growing a law firm.

The most discussed session was a panel on Building a Law Firm and Young Lawyers Pipeline, led by Eric Gros-Dubois, Oscar A. Gomez, and Aviv Asoulin, partners at our firm, and moderated by our Associate, Isabella Wolstenholme. The conversation was disarmingly candid and included discussions about recruiting, retention, firm culture, and what it actually takes to build a team for the long term.

We shared that our attorney team averages around 35 years old, with even our most senior attorneys still under 45. That is not an accident. It reflects a deliberate strategy to hire with culture in mind, develop talent early, and create a path that gives ambitious lawyers a reason to stay.

“They take accountability and responsibility for the work they do. When the rubber meets the road, do they own up to mistakes or do they try to pass off responsibility?” — Oscar A. Gomez, Attorney, EPGD Business Law

We have built a structured partnership track with seven to eight measurable milestones, so associates always know exactly where they stand and what comes next. The message was simple: uncertainty is what drives good lawyers out the door. Remove it.

The afternoon brought two more sessions. Silvino Edward Diaz, our Of Counsel Entertainment Law Associate, led a dynamic discussion on Music Catalog Sales, weaving together legal, financial, and cultural perspectives in ways that sparked real debate in the room. Our Litigation Counsel, Isabella Falcon, closed the day with a practical look at Counterfeit Enforcement Strategies, focusing on Schedule A cases and the legal tools available to protect clients against infringement at scale.

Beyond the Agenda

What defines an LNA meeting is often what happens around the formal program. Conversations that continue after sessions end. Ideas tested informally over dinner or on a rooftop at dusk. Introductions that turn into working relationships faster than anyone expected.

The setting helped. We hosted a rooftop reception that gave attendees room to connect in the kind of relaxed, unhurried way that makes trust form quickly. The evenings extended the work into something that felt less like a conference and more like a reunion among colleagues who genuinely like each other.

That is what LNA has been building for three decades: a network where lawyers know each other well enough to trust, and trust each other enough to work together.
