Alberto graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University, receiving his B.B.A. in International Business in 2019 and his MBA in 2020. Alberto currently serves as the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal for Transnational Law and Policy at the Florida State University College of Law and the President of the FSU chapter of the Cuban American Bar Association.
Here at EPGD, Alberto provides great insight and support in the areas of state and federal civil litigation and appellate procedure. Alberto gained much of his experience from internships with the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, the Third District Court of Appeals of Florida, and the 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. Additionally, Alberto served as a Fellow in the General Counsel’s office of the Executive Office of the Governor’s Division of Emergency Management where he gained experience in administrative law.
Currently, Alberto serves on the Board of Directors of We Care Chemo Kits, where he supports and champions the need to support cancer patients while undergoing chemotherapy. As well as on the FSU College of Law Raising the Bar Professionalism Committee where he aids in the advancement of professionalism and civility in the legal profession.
On a personal note: Alberto became the youngest alum at Florida International University history to become a major donor and the founding member of the Pathway to Philanthropy Program. Providing scholarships for First-Generation students in the university’s Honors College.
